2018 Giving Campaigns
All Aboard Campaign
The “All Aboard” campaign invites all who are passionate about the mission of the Mason County Historical Society to partner with us as we strive to meet our goals. This campaign is the primary source of funds that are used to cover the expenses needed to maintain our facilities in a way that provides a quality visitor experience. These funds are vital when it comes to covering the necessary expenses that allow us to keep our doors open. Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated.
Daily Sponsor Campaign
Sponsoring a day is a great way to help us provide a wonderful educational experience for our many visitors. Become a “Daily Sponsor” in honor of a loved one, a birthday, or even an anniversary! While we appreciate donations of any amount, you may personally sponsor a day for $250. As a sponsor we will recognize you at both of our museums, on our website, and in our newsletter. To sponsor a particular day, please call Rebecca Berringer at 231-843-4808 ex. 103.

Research Library Campaign
The Mason County Historical Society’s extensive research library covers West Michigan and Mason County history, containing archival photos, newspapers, obituaries, and more. Funds are needed to defray the expenses associated with accessioning and preserving these important pieces of history.
Business Partners Campaign
Adopt a Building Campaign
Historic White Pine Village is home to 30 buildings and sites to explore. Among the many buildings are a Trappers Cabin, the original 1849 Caswell Court House for Mason County, a General Store, and Farmstead, Maritime, Lumbering, and Time Museums. The Museum of Music and Hamlin Cabin also add to the visitor experience. Whether you enjoy classic cars, beautiful flowers and gardens, farmstead life, or a beautiful chapel, all these can be experienced while touring the village. Become an Adopt a Building donor for $750 and help preserve these buildings for generations to come. As a donor we will proudly display your name on a lovely sign at the entrance to the building of your choice, on our website, and recognize your contribution in our annual meeting brochure.
Exhibit Planning Campaign
Quality educational exhibits are a vital component to a successful visitor experience. Developments costs for exhibits can range from as low as $100 upwards to $75,000 or more. Being able to provide quality exhibits takes planning and funds. Please consider a donation towards these expenses, no amount is too small.
For current exhibit plans, please contact Dr. Rick Plummer at 231-843-4808 ex. 102
